Jason is a Technical Advisor for Construction, the Built Environment and Green Skills at City & Guilds. Jason began his construction journey like most others, as an apprentice in Site Carpentry. His apprenticeship and construction career began with a local building company who mainly served a beautiful and rural part of Co. Durham known as Weardale. Following his apprenticeship Jason pursued the dream of starting his own Carpentry & Construction company serving his local area, whilst also experiencing the industry on national and international contracts. Jason then progressed into the world of further education starting as an assessor working his way up to position of MD of a training organisation. After 14 years in FE Jason then embarked on another dream to work for City & Guilds and joined them in early 2020. Where he works as a TA. Jason also volunteers his services to a local primary school delivery woodwork class to the children.
