Head of construction procurement,

Cliff is the Head of Construction Procurement Team within the Procurement Division, Commercial Directorate at the Department of Health (DH).
He has been involved with the development and implementation of the DH ProCure21 and DH ProCure21+ (www.procure21plus.nhs.uk) Frameworks, As the DH ProCure21+ framework expires in September 2016 and he is currently involved in the management of the successor DH framework – ProCure22. The previous P21 National Framework delivered over £4bn of work over 7 years and the current ProCure21+ National Framework currently has in £4.5bn of work registered to be undertaken using the Framework. The P21+ delivered 15% construction cost efficiency savings from 2011 – 2015 and the delivery of this included collaboration with supply chains to deliver the Repeatable Rooms and Standard Components. In addition the team provided construction procurement advice to other parts of DH.
Cliff is also a Director of the newly established Construction Clients Leadership Group Board and a member of the Constructing Excellence Yorkshire and Humberside Steering Group.
