Tony started his career as a Group Trainee for Wimpey Construction and continued with Wimpey for 14 years after award of a BSc (Hons) in Building/Construction Management. Projects ranged from Homes, Libraries and Theatres to commercial offices in Central London
MCIOB in 1990 and FCIOB in 2007.
Tony moved to ISG’s newly formed Exterior and headed their first principal scheme of Bedfont Lakes in the late 90’s.
In 2001 Tony joined Mace and moved to Terminal 1 as Production Lead with Mace /BAA on the £200 million extension to the T1 baggage system and expansion of the International Departures Lounge. Following the successful completion of this complex project Tony moved to Terminal 5 on the Main Terminal building. Following T5 tony headed up accounts for the like of Morgan Stanley for Mace and completed successful projects, such as the Gemini Data centres as Operations Director.
In 2007 Tony joined Westfield as Project Director on the planned Stratford City £1.5 billion development. He retained this role throughout the Project, onto Completion, centre opening in 2011 and into the centre operation phase.
From 2011-2016 Tony’s role in Westfield expanded including fit out of office space built by Westfield at Stratford to Cat B for external tenants, Construction of Kidzania above a trading M and S store and new store space for M and S at Westfield London, overview of Stratford Works together with Pre development of the £1billion plus Croydon Centre and Project Director on the expansion of Westfield London White City Centre.
In 2016 Tony joined the Board of St George West London (part of the Berkeley Group) as Production Director responsible for the Construction, Technical and Commercial operations of the operating company.
Tony is married with two children and lives in Surrey.
