Deputy director, asset management systems,
I joined the Environment Agency’s predecessor body in 1993 after six years as an engineer in the construction industry. I held an number of operational roles across flood risk, science and environment managment before becoming Area Director for Kent and South London in 2008.
In 2015 I moved to the role of Deputy Director - Asset Management Operations to develop a systems approach to the management of the Environment Agency’s asset portfolio. I have the responsibility of Programme Director for the Thames Estuary Asset Management 2100 programme. This is 10 year contract with intergrated delivery team led by Jacobs, to develop asset management approaches to support the delivery of the Thames Estuary Strategy.
I am an Member of the Institution of Civil Engineer having graduated from the University of Greenwich in 2001 with a Honours Degree in Civil Engineering.
