As Director of Operations within National Grid Ventures, Phil is responsible for operating the UJV portfolio (IFA, IFA2, NSL and soon to include the Viking Link Interconnector to Denmark. Phil is a Civil Engineer starting his career in Oil and Gas with TechnipFMC working on North Sea Capital Projects. He then joined Severn Trent as Programme Engineer working on Water and Wastewater Capital Projects, before joining National Grid in 2016 where he has held various operational and management roles. Including Project Director for HS2, Head of Strategy for capital projects and Head of both UK Contracts and Project Controls.
