Alexander joined BGO in 2019 in order to lead Welput’s development initiatives which have included planning applications for over 1million SQ FT. Prior to joining the Firm, Alexander was UK Head of Design & Construction at Tishman Speyer responsible for delivering 1.7 million SQ FT in the City of London & Westminster, including the European headquarters for Goldman Sachs. Other notable projects are 30 St Mary Axe(The Gherkin) for Swiss Re and the Millennium Wheel (London Eye) for David Marks and Julia Barfield. Alexander has overall responsibility for Welput’s development projects with a key focus on driving ESG ambitions. Alexander has worked in Central London Real Estate for over 25 years, holds a Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Assessment of Professional Competence and is a member of the British Council for Offices. He also has an honours degree in Quantity Surveying from the University of the West of England.
