Lara Potter is director, Workforce for the Future and leads Resource Planning for Arcadis in the UK. She leads workforce deployment and planning and builds understanding of the skills, capabilities and culture needed to make the most of digital and technology to achieve improved social, environmental and economic value.
Prior to her current role, she led a multidisciplinary Strategic Environment and Safety Consultancy team and for the majority of her 25 year career, Lara has worked in Environmental Consultancy, supporting in industrial and manufacturing Clients.
Lara has recently joined the Board of the Association of Consultancy and Engineering Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE) where she leads a Group on Future Skills. She is also part of the CLC Working Group ‘Skills for a Modernised Industry’.
Lara holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Manchester and a PhD in Environmental Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
