Nick Taylor
industry manager – construction
City & Guilds
My 28 year career has been devoted to construction and I feel I have a real passion for the industry. I started as a bricklaying apprentice from the age of 16 and spent 15 years in various roles including bricklayer, stone mason and site manager. In 2010 I moved into the further education sector as a bricklaying assessor, I spent the next 12 years assessing, lecturing and eventually became Head of Studies. In my current role as Industry Manager with City & Guilds I am enjoying working with industry specialist to shape the future qualifications of the industry.
