I am a Carpenter & Joiner by trade and have worked on various sites around the UK & Europe. Several years later I went into FE as a Carpenter & Joinery Lecturer and left FE 22 years later as the Head of Curriculum & Apprenticeships which included Construction, Engineering, Land based Engineering and Motor Vehicle. I am now an Industry Manager for Construction with City & Guilds. Working closely with industry employers, professional bodies, and stakeholders to ensure the C&G Construction portfolio stays ahead of its competitors producing products and services that our customers and industry need.
