"Clare joined Mace in October 2018 as Procurement Director, supporting the Mace Executive Board on all Procurement and Supply Chain matters for the £2.4bn global business. Clare is an accomplished and highly effective senior executive with significant experience in leading procurement activities including strategic sourcing, category management, transformation programmes and supplier relationship development across a number of sectors. Clare joined Mace following a long and successful career with Carillion and Tarmac. Through her results driven approach and commitment to having high performing teams Clare worked her way up through the organisation and finished her career at Carillion as the Group Procurement Director, remaining for 6 months to assist PWC in all Procurement, Commercial and Supply Chain challenges associated with disposing of all live contracts. Clare is a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply with 35 years of commercial and supply chain experience. Clare has formerly held a range of Commercial and Supply Chain roles over a wide range of Construction, Infrastructure and Services projects. Clare supports both career and personal development and is working closely to support the graduate Programme within Mace. Clare has a degree in Quantity Surveying and started her career with Tarmac Construction in 1990."
