As Head of Carbon Management on the Lower Thames Crossing (LTC) project, Lucy has quantified the carbon impact, used the procurement of the three design and build contracts to drive down carbon emissions and written the Carbon and Energy Management Plan with 24 legally binding carbon commitments. She has embedded a best practice approach to carbon management, with LTC certified to the global carbon management standard (PAS 2080) and becoming the first infrastructure project to receive Gold accreditation by the Carbon Literacy Project. Prior to her role on LTC, she managed carbon and sustainability on other high-profile, national infrastructure projects.
